House of Restoration Newsletter

Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and asked Him to forgive you your sins? Now receive His forgiveness and accept His blood shed for you. After confessing this, you never ask forgiveness for the same sin over and over again. We are not going to put Jesus back on the cross; He has already died for your sins, He is not going to do it again. God sees you through the blood of Jesus Christ, righteous and perfect. The cross and blood was enough to wash the entire world’s sin away. Stop judging yourself and accept the freedom. Don’t be deceived by the devil, you are free. You are free in Jesus Christ. Psa 103:10 He has not dealt with us after our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. Psa 103:11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great are His mercy and loving-kindness toward those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him. Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.

In the Old Testament, bulls’ and goats’ blood was shed for the remission of the sins of the Israelites. Jesus fulfilled the law. Jesus was not guilty of killing, stealing, lust, gluttony, swearing, addictions to drugs, unforgiveness or any sin you can think of. On the cross He took all these sins of humanity on Him, so we can be free. He died and rose to present His blood to God the Father for the remission of our sins. Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed me from the law of sin and death Rom 4:15 For the Law results in wrath, but where there is no law there is no transgression. Does this freedom of sin and law mean we can no do what we want? NO!!!!! If we keep on sinning, the Law of sowing and reaping applies. For instance, if you keep on stealing, you will eventually get caught and go to jail or if keep on sleeping around, you will probably get HIV.

So if you accepted Jesus in your life and asked forgiveness and you still keep on sinning, you will reap the bad that comes with it on this earth, but you will not miss Heaven and go to hell because of it. Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at for whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap. Gal 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. God gives us good advice so we can be free from bad choices. Be led by Holy Spirit. Gal 5:16 But I say, walk and live in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God). Gal 5:17 For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the [Holy] Spirit, and the Spirit are opposed to the flesh; for these are antagonistic to each other, so that you are not free but are prevented from doing what you desire to do. Gal 5:18 But if you are guided (led) by the [Holy] Spirit, you are not subject to the Law. The choice is yours to live in Christ. Choose right!!! Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live
