Being Led by Holy Spirit? Making important decisions!!!

A friend of mine, Jaco, told me one morning about one of his friends, a true Christian, who never does anything unless he hears from Holy Spirit. He will sit in his room all day and pray, and if someone visits him and tells him to take a drive or go buy a Coca Cola at the supermarket, he would hear from God and by praying, he would then either go or stay put. God told me that was not the best way being led by Holy Spirit. IF YOU WANT TO BE LED BY HOLY SPIRIT, YOU MUST DECIDE, TAKE ACTION AND BEHIND YOU, YOU WILL HEAR HIS VOICE SAYING LEFT OR RIGHT. Isa 30:21 And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, this is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.

Even Jonah in his disobedience was led by Holy Spirit the right way. Jonah did not listen to God; He did not want to go to Nineveh and decided to go to Tar Shish, so the fish swallowed him. He repented; the fish spat him out and only then did he go to Nineveh. JONAH MADE A DECISION AND IN HIS DISOBEDIENCE GOD WAS STILL BEHIND HIM TO PROTECT AND HELP HIM. Jon 1:3 But Jonah rose up to flee to Tar shish from being in the presence of the Lord. Jon 1:4 But the Lord sent out a great wind upon the sea, Jon 1:15 So they took up Jonah and cast him into the sea, and the sea ceased from its raging. Jon 1:17 Now the Lord had prepared and appointed a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. Jon 2:10 And the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land. Jon 3:3 So Jonah arose and went to Nineveh according to the word of the Lord.

Now a slight deviation in one’s approach: If you have prayed and asked God for direction and guidance in taking that job or moving to another state, and there is no answer from God to your prayer. You take a decision: By accepting that job or not, or moving to another state or not. In this decision you trust God to protect you against the wrong decisions. I think in most cases, God is actually waiting for us to decide and trust Him to guide our paths. This decision scenario is like a mature child making a decision. Not like a baby who is too afraid to make any decisions. 2Sa 24:12 Go and say to David, Thus says the Lord, I hold over you three choices; select one of them, so I may bring it upon you. Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose, that you and your descendants may live TRUSTING GOD FOR OPEN OR CLOSED DOORS!!!

Since you are partaking in and benefiting from House of Restoration Ministry it is right to Partner and Sow into this ministry and share in our Vision and Mission. This is not manipulating anybody financially. Truly consider to SUPPORT this ministry financially. It would be greatly appreciated. Phi 1:5 I thank my God for your fellowship your sympathetic cooperation and contributions and partnership in advancing the good news from the first day until now.  Act 20:35 …., it is more blessed to give than to receive.

God bless you.
