South African Friends of Israel in partnership with Bridges for Peace and the South African Zionist Federation (Cape Council) have just returned from a fact-finding mission to Israel with 20 religious leaders from across Southern Africa.

BDS FAIL – SAZF applauds Angela Merkel's Christian Democratic Union Party for taking a stand

The SAZF strongly applauds the ruling party in Germany, The Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and in particular the German politicians from the CDU in Hamburg who submitted a resolution in early February calling on the Hamburg state senate to take decisive action against the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement, deeming it as antisemitic.​

Jewish Agency for Israel launches new ''Kibbutz centre'' in KZN

Last week we hosted the official launch of the Project TEN Centre in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. The launch was officiated by the famous human rights activist Mr Natan Sharansky, Chairman of the Executive of the Jewish Agency for Israel, alongside Israel’s Ambassador to South Africa Mr Arthur Lenk. These dignitaries visited the various projects the Centre is in partnership with and interacted with the communities. ​
