ABOUT CABIN CREW

Airline cabin crew are responsible for the comfortsafety and welfare of passengers traveling on airplanes during flights to and from the national and international destinations.  

YOU ARE HIGHLY ADVISED TO TAKE YOUR TIME AND READ THROUGH EVERY DETAIL FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING AND INSTRUCTIONS:


Our training for cabin crew services will start on Monday 20 March 2017 at the SAA Academy in Kempton Park (O.R Tambo International Airport) Johannesburg. The training will run for the period of four months. After the training you will be located to work at any of our SAA branches (airports) around South Africa. During the training you will be offered a monthly salary of R6 000 per month. Your salary will be increased to up to R13 000 per month when you become our permanent cabin crew member, depending on your level. Medical benefits and other benefits are also included.

ACCOMMODATION FOR THE TRAINEES

The training will include a free accommodation and catering of 6 months. After the training you will be located to work as a permanent employee for the SAA cabin crew on our flights and you will be allocated to work at one of the airports around South Africa. The training accommodation is very limited but if you have any friends or relatives around Kempton Park you can arrange to stay with them.

URGENT BOOKING FOR ACCOMMODATION

Our hostels are very limited and can only accommodate a certain number of applicants. You are advised to quickly secure your accommodation space as they will quickly get fully booked by submitting a once-off booking fee of R200.00 (Two Hundred Rands) and should be submitted before 15 March 2017. If you miss the booking you will be required to find your own place to stay. No bookings will be accepted after the due date (15/03/2017) and there will be no accommodation available for any applicant who failed to submit the booking fee.

NB: SAA is not asking you to pay for the training, the training is free. The R200.00 booking fee is for accommodation and catering, you will be refunded back once we done processing your application and we will not ask you to pay more.

 

SELECTED BOOKING SERVICE:

SAA can no longer give out the company banking details due to fraudulent activities that happened previously. The accommodation bookings are organized to be submitted through any Pep, PepCell or PepHome retail shops nationwide via Pep Money Transfer Services.

 

How to send your booking fee at Pep:

  1. Take your SA ID book or ID card and cell phone number to your nearest PEP Stores
  2. The cashier will ask you to enter 4-digit pin number in store. This is a number of your choice. You are instructed to use your application code (7998) as your transaction pin, Please do not use any other pin. Only use your code =7998.
  3. The cashier will give you the cash slip containing your withdrawal number and you are instructed to fax or email us the Pep slip with your I.D copy

After the transfer, Please fax or email the slip/receipt which contains the 10-digits voucher number as your proof of payment together with your I.D copy and please write your application code and telephone/cellphone numbers with a pen on top of your I.D copy and send to the following:

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Our telephone lines are currently out of order at the moment due to the renovations taking place at the H.R department offices. We won't be contacting any applicants via telephone calls and won't be receiving any calls during the renovations and construction process. You should be prepared to receive a phone call from the H.R department at any day starting from 05 March 2017 between 8:00am and 14:00pm that will give you all the confirmations and any other information you may require such as directions for Kempton Park and the date of your formal interview. Please make sure you keep your cellphone ON.
